中文摘要: 铱配合物因为具有发光颜色可调和100%的理论量子效率等优点,被学术界和产业界看作是最有潜力的一类有机电致发光材料。经过研究人员多年的努力,蓝色和绿色铱配合物电致发光器件的性能基本满足产业化的要求。比较而言,红色铱配合物具有较低的空间位阻、较长的激发态寿命和偏低的载流子迁移率,所以目前所报导的红色铱配合物电致发光器件普遍存在效率低、衰减快和工作电压高的问题。本项目拟采用双发光层器件结构来提高红色铱配合物的电致发光性能,优选能级匹配的红色铱配合物、空穴型主体材料和电子型主体材料将复合区域限制在发光层的中心并拓宽器件的发光区间,从而延缓器件效率的衰减并降低工作电压。进而,采用三元掺杂的工艺将载流子注入敏化剂引入发光层,进一步促进载流子的平衡并消除空间电荷的积累,最终提高器件的效率和工作稳定性。本项目的研究工作能够提高红色铱配合物电致发光器件的综合性能,并为掺杂器件的结构设计提供新思路。

英文摘要: Iridium complexes have been regarded as the most potential electroluminescent materials due to their adjustable emission wavelength and theoretically 100% quantum efficiency. After many years' intense investigation, the performances of blue and green electroluminescent devices based on iridium complexes have basically satisfied the requirements of application. However, red iridium complexes possess relatively low steric hindrance, long excited lifetimes and low carrier mobility; therefore, most reported red electroluminescent devices based on iridium complexes show low efficiency, rapid efficiency roll-off and high operation voltage. In this project, we aim to improving the electroluminescent performances of red iridium complexes by designing electroluminescent devices with double light-emitting layers. Selecting appropriate iridium complexes, hole and electron dominant host materials with well-matched energy levels can widen the recombination zone and confine the recombination zone near the center of emission layers, thus suppressing the roll-off of efficiency and reducing the operation voltage.
