中文摘要: 高重频蓝紫激光在光谱学、原子物理、医疗、环境监测、激光显示及水下通信与探测等基础研究、高科技产品开发和国防工程中有着非常重要的应用。本项目旨在开展对倍频LD泵浦声光调Q碱金属蒸汽激光特性的研究,解决其中涉及到的机理问题和关键技术,探索一种具有原创性和自主知识产权的实现高重频蓝紫激光输出的新途径。本项目以852 nm LD泵浦铯(Cs)蒸汽激光器为主要研究对象,在建立LD泵浦调Q碱金属蒸汽激光器理论模型的基础上,着重研究碱金属蒸汽吸收线宽展宽问题,拟采用LD偏振光泵浦技术提高碱金属蒸汽激光器的效率,结合大模体积非稳腔、高重频声光调Q及高效率倍频技术的应用,搭建一套高重频的447.5 nm Cs蒸汽激光实验平台,实验验证相关技术的可行性,为高重频蓝紫激光光源的发展提供新的理论基础和技术手段,促进其在各领域内的更广泛应用。

英文摘要: High repetitive rate blue-violet laser has extensive applications in science research, high-technical product development and national defense engineering, such as laser spectroscopy, atomic physics, laser medical treatment, environmental monitoring, laser display and laser underwater communication and detection. It is mainly aimed at the research on frequency doubling laser characteristics of a diode-pumped acousto-optically (AO) Q-switched alkali vapor laser. By solving the mechanical problems and key technologies, a novel approach for realizing high repetitive rate blue-violet laser will be explored. Based on a theoretical modeling on LD pumped Q-switched alkali vapor laser, Cs vapor will be chosen as the main gain medium, and the research will be mainly focused on the key technologies, such as absorption line width broadening of alkali vapor, polarized LD pumping, unstable resonator with large mode volume, high repetitive rate AO Q-switch and high efficiency frequency doubling. According to experimental tests on the practicability of these technologies, a high repetitive rate, high power 447.5 nm Cs vapor laser system will be designed, and its laser characteristics will be measured and optimized.
