中文摘要: 本项目拟通过植物形态学、解剖学和古生态学等技术和方法,对青海泽库中新世植物大化石(果实和叶片等)进行详细的系统分类学研究,并在同位素年代学研究的基础上对区域古植被和古气候进行准确的恢复和重建。比较解剖化石和现代植物器官(如叶片、果实)的宏观形态和微观特征,探讨植物化石的自然分类位置,分析植物起源发生与系统演化;通过对泽库中新世种子植物可靠的系统分类,准确地重建泽库中新世古植被面貌;分别通过以最近亲缘种法为基础的共存分析法和以叶形态学为基础的叶相分析法,恢复泽库中新世古气候参数,分析两种方法结果差异及可能原因,探讨植物化石对青藏高原(东北部)区域隆升和气候变化的指示和时空响应。

英文摘要: The present research program performs the detailed systematic and taxonomic study of the Miocene plant macrofossils (e.g. fruits and leaves) from Zeku, Qinghai Province by techniques of plant morphology,anatomy and paleocology, and reconstructs the regional paleovegetation and quantitative paleoclimates on the basis of radioactive isotope dating. That is, the research plan compares macroscopic and microscopic features of organs (e.g. leaves, fruits) of plant fossils with those of extant plants, establishes their natural taxonomic position, and analyzes their phylogenetic and evolutional history; reconstructs the Miocene vegetaional features based on the unequivocal systematic taxonomy of the Miocene seed plants; estimates the Miocene climatic parameters using the coexistence approach based on the nearest living relatives and the leaf physiognomy analysis based on the leaf morphology, respectively, analyzes the biases between the two suits of data as well as probable impact factors, and discusses the implications and temporal and spatial responses of fossils to regional tectonic uplift and climatic change on the Tibetan plateau(mainly the northeast part).
