中文摘要: 在人们日常生活中广泛使用的绝缘聚合物例如聚乙烯、聚苯乙烯等是非常廉价的通用结构材料,将这些绝缘聚合物材料通过共混或者共聚的方式引入到半导体聚合物材料中(绝缘聚合物含量可高达90%以上)无疑可以 1)降低成本;2) 提高柔韧性和环境稳定性; 3)增加透明度。申请人前期工作首次观察到具有特定形态的半导体/绝缘体聚合物复合材料在低化学掺杂浓度下,具有较好的场效应管性能。本项目在前期工作基础上,继续提高掺杂浓度,实现更高的场效应管器件性能,并探索此类复合材料在透明电极领域的应用。我们计划采用下列方法来实现晶体管的可关闭性: 1)优化绝缘体本身的绝缘性质及空间电荷阻隔作用;2)调控源漏电极间的掺杂梯度;3)筛选适当的体相绝缘体作为驻极体。我们的目标是致力于开发出同时具有较高的场效应晶体管性能和较高的电导率的新型高分子复合材料。

英文摘要: Insulating-polymers, e.g. polyethylene and polystyrene,are widely used as engineering materials.Integrating insulating-polymers into intrinsic semiconducting-polymers can potentially reduce cost, improve flexibility and transparency as well as environmental stability of polymer-based electronics.In our previous work, we found that weak-moderate doping of semiconductor/insulator blends leads to improvement of transistor performance. In this project, we will investigate the charge transport behaviour of semiconductor/insulator blends with higher doping concentration.For the field-effect transistor application, in order to switch-off the device, we plan to 1)optimize the morphology of the blends, 2)use doping gradient in the channel to form effective pinch-off region, 3)find bulk insulating matrix as bulk electret to store charges. We will do our best to devlelp these doped blends as a new class of semiconducting composite for improved transistor performance, and composite with high conductivity for tranparent electrode application.
