中文摘要: 三维模型表面属性,如颜色、透明度、光照、法向量等,真实再现物理世界中的颜色和材质等丰富细节,构建了栩栩如生的虚拟世界。在三维数字技术普及化的今天,大众用户在三维模型表面属性编辑上面临着操作与内容创作上的难题。我们认为,其中的根本性困难在于表面属性所蕴含的三维模型语义信息与传统几何处理技术所依赖的低层几何属性度量之间的认知鸿沟。因此,本项目紧扣并进一步推动"基于语义分析的三维编辑"技术趋势,以分析三维模型的丰富语义信息为出发点,基于模型分析获取的语义信息,探讨基于模型语义的实时交互技术和智能建议式创意设计等新型解决方案,并最终形成自然高效的三维模型表面属性智能编辑交互系统,在交互式模型建模与处理领域做出基础性和前瞻性贡献。

英文摘要: The surface attributes of 3D model(e.g.,color,transparency,illumination,and normal vector) demonstrate detailed appearance of 3D model and contribute to construct the vivid virtual world. Nowadays, 3D digital techniques are widely used. However, there are challenges in interactive operation and content creation for general users in editing the surface attributes. We argue that the fundamental problem is the cognition gap between the semantics information of 3D model which is important for the surface attributes editing and low level geometric measures on which the traditional geometric processing techniques depend. This project not only follows closely but also targets promoting the trend of "Semantics-Driven 3D interactive editing". We start by analyzing the rich semantics information of 3D models. Based on the semantics-analysis, we investigate a new solution framework including semantics-driven realtime interactive techniques and smart suggestion for creative content design. This project aims at presenting a natural and effective interactive editing system for 3D surface attributes and striving to make substantial contribution to the state-of-art.
