中文摘要： 本项目通过westernblot和免疫细胞荧光实验，证实了Z38基因不能翻译成蛋白，可能是类mRNA的非编码基因。荧光定量PCR方法分析了Z38基因在不同癌症样本和癌细胞系的表达，结果表明Z38在多种癌组织和癌细胞系中表达特别是在乳腺癌组织和乳腺癌细胞系中高表达。在细胞水平上和动物水平上证实Z38基因过表达可促进细胞增殖，而在癌细胞中干扰Z38基因的表达则抑制细胞增殖、促进细胞凋亡。本研究发现非编码基因Z38基因是一个癌基因，可作为乳腺癌发生的预警基因。

英文摘要： The westernblot and cell immunofluorescence experiments demonstrated that Z38 gene is a mRNA-like non-coding RNA,capable of being trancribed into mRNA, but not being translated into protein.We compared the expression patterns of Z38 gene between tumor tissues and cancer cells by real time PCR, and found that Z38 gene was expressed in differnet tumor tissues and cancer cells especially in breast tumor tissues and cancer cells. Furthermore, we demonstrated that overexpression of Z38 gene promoted cell proliferation, while knockdown of Z38 gene inhibited cell proliferation and stimulates apoptosis of tumor cells. Our results showed that the non-coding RNA gene Z38 plays a role in breast cancer as an oncogene.
