中文摘要: CSMA(载波监听多路访问)技术在无线网络中有广泛应用需求,但是在不确定信道下的工作较为缺乏。本项目将无线信道不确定性(主要是信道质量时变性和信道速率可调节性)引入到无线CSMA优化理论与算法研究中,使之更接近真实无线环境。具体有三方面研究内容:不确定信道下无线网络优化理论、可调节信道速率下载波监听优化问题、不确定性信道下自适应CSMA(近似)优化算法。本研究考虑了无线信道的不确定特性,将建立更为真实的无线网络优化模型,为改进载波监听技术提供理论依据,将进一步丰富无线CSMA优化理论和算法,使端到端用户高效、公平地访问无线信道资源,具有较强理论意义和实际意义。

英文摘要: CSMA (Carrier Sensing Multiple Access) is widely used in wireless networks. However, related work for uncertain channels is little. In our proposal we study the optimization theory and algorithms of wireless CSMA under uncertain channel (mainly considering time-varying channel quality and variable channel bit rates). The research issues are: optimization theory of wireless networks under uncertain channels; carrier sensing optimization for variable channel rates; adaptive CSMA (approximated) optimization algorithms under uncertain channels. Considering channel uncertainty, our research will establish accurate optimization models, which lays a solid foundation on improving carrier sensing technology and make new contributions to the theory and algorithms of wireless CSMA, making end-to-end users access wireless resources efficiently and fairly, and thus has good influences in both theoretical and practical aspects.
