中文摘要: 透明导电薄膜的应用很广,举凡柔性电子纸、柔性显示器、柔性太阳能电池、触控屏等,皆须要使用透明导电膜。此膜的成膜品质大大地影响器件的光电性能。并且这部份的成本通常占了器件中的大部份,所以,研发可以更经济更大量的生产技术与材料,成为当务之急。目前透明导电膜的做法仍是利用干式镀膜制程,无法与柔性基材整合并且需要昂贵的真空制程,而卷对卷制程则是可以实践大量生产柔性透明导电膜的有力工具。但是,以目前世界上的科研进度来说,此技术仍不成熟,主要因为卷对卷制程必须考虑与设计每一个细部环节与材料基础特性,才能够真正实现大量并且有效率的批次生产。有鉴于此,本项目以透明导电薄膜作为研究的开端把很多细部的材料设计与制程考量整合,并将拆解这些前瞻的细部研究以建立起制造柔性电子器件的核心能力。我们将研究柔性电子器件的微观物理、卷对卷制程的细部机理解析、并找出更符合经济效益的材料与制程技术以取代稀有金属的透明导电膜。

英文摘要: The transparent conductive films (TCFs) are widely used in the flexible technologies, such as E-paper, displays, solar cell, and touch sensors. This TCF is generally used for connecting the electronic devices to the ground as an common electrode; therefore, the quality of this film is very critical for device performances. Moreover, TCF usually has very large portion of the total cost. As a result, developing a more economic TCF is very essential for our future technology in developing flexible devices. Roll to roll (R2R) process has been regarded as one of the most efficient ways of fabricating flexible TCF. However, this technology is not mature owing it complexity of material and process designs in each step. To realize a very efficient R2R process, the detailed design in each step is very important. Therefore, the work proposed here is trying to explore the sophisticated steps within the integrated R2R process and its corresponding material design. We will investigate the micro-scale physics of the flexible TCF made by the R2R process and try to find out a material which can replace the currently-used rare materials for making TCF. The results are expected to help us to build up the core knowledge of making more complicated flexible devices in the near future.
