中文摘要: 纳米催化剂的性能与其尺寸、形貌、金属-载体界面结构密切相关;原位、动态表征催化剂组成和表面结构是构建构-效关系,理解纳米结构的催化功能和活性位本质的科学基础。本项目利用氧化铁形貌选择性地调控金、银、铜纳米粒子在特定晶面落位,研制一系列基于特定晶面调控的IB族金属/氧化铁纳米结构催化剂;结合in-situ XRD、EXAFS、XPS以及高分辨ETEM技术,在涉及到CO、H2、O2和H2O等小分子活化的反应条件下,研究金属粒子、金属-氧化物界面的尺寸、形貌、配位、电子结构等的动态演变规律;探讨IB族金属粒子-氧化铁特定晶面相互作用的化学机制,揭示接近真实反应条件下金属-氧化物界面结构的催化作用机理,深化对"金属-载体界面"、金属与载体相互作用等概念的科学认知,为设计和制备新型高效纳米结构催化剂提供理论指导。

英文摘要: The performance of nanocatalysts is intimately linked with their size, morphology and metal-support interface, where the dynamic behavior of the metal-support interfacial structure under reaction acts as the core in establishing the structure-reaction relationship. In-situ characterization using the powerful EXAFS technique and the more visualized ETEM approach has enabled at least partially, to understand the intrinsic mechanism of the working catalysts. This project is aimed to study the dynamic behavior of Fe2O3-support Au, Ag and Cu catalysts under reaction conditions. Based on the controlled synthesis of Fe2O3 nanoparticles, nanorods, nanocubes and nanotubes, which exposing different crystal facets, IB metal (Au, Ag, Cu) nanoparticles will be deposited on the iron oxides, forming different metal-oxide interfacial structures. These catalysts will be extensively characterized by means of XRD, EXAFS, HRTEM and spectroscopic techniques. The dynamic variations of the metal-oxide interfacial structures under oxidizing, reducing and reactive atmospheres and at evaluated temperatures will be studied using in-situ XRD, EXAFS and ETEM. Together with the results of reaction tests in CO oxidation and water gas shift, it is expected to construct the intrinsic structure-reaction relationship of these important catalysts.
