中文摘要: 稀土掺杂钇铝石榴石YAG激光透明陶瓷是高功率和高能全固态激光器的最佳增益介质。大幅度降低激光透明陶瓷的散射损耗达到块体单晶水平是实现其工程化应用的前提条件。在陶瓷多晶体系中,高散射损耗情形下的名类散射源对散射损耗的影响规律已基本明晰,但在散射损耗低于1%cm-1的低散射基础上,散射机理尚不清楚。我国目前可以做到1%cm-1水平。本项目拟重点研究在散射损耗低于1%cm-1的低散射基础上,陶瓷内部各类散射源对散射损耗的影响机制,以及通过微结构调控实现陶瓷的超低散射损耗,使YAG陶瓷散射损耗小于0.2%cm-1达到接近块体YAG单晶的水平。

英文摘要: Rare earth dope YAG transparent ceramics is the most important laser gain media with potential application in the field of high energy / high power solid-state laser system. The urgent requirement for its actual application is the extremely low scattering loss in the polycrystalline dense system. However, although the scattering mechanism on the level of >1%cm-1 is clear, the reason of the sources for the extremely low scattering of lower than 1%cm-1 is still unclear. In this project, the objective is to clarify the mechanism of the different scattering sources on the light loss on the level of <1%cm-1, and to find out the efficient route to depress the scattering loss and enventually reach 0.2%cm-1 compared with the present level of about 1%cm-1 in China.
