中文摘要: 手指静脉识别作为一种新型身份认证技术,识别精度高、安全性能强,既可用于弹药库等军事重地,又可广泛用于银行等民用场所,军用和民用价值极大。低质量静脉图像易导致识别性能下降,是当前面临的主要难题。本项目首先构建具有代表性的大型低质量手指静脉图像数据库,用于算法仿真和成果评价;然后结合低质量图像特性和静脉生理结构,提出修正二叉树模型,定量描述静脉分支的相互连接关系及空间结构,有助于探究低质量图像的静脉分布规律和结构差异,对实现静脉纹路的完整提取和静脉特征的灵活匹配有重要意义;接着在完善前期静脉图像增强与分割算法的基础上,提出基于修正二叉树模型的手指静脉纹路修复算法,解决低质量图像下完整静脉纹路提取的难题;最后提出基于修正二叉树模型的手指静脉匹配算法,提高面向低质量图像的手指静脉识别算法的鲁棒性。通过本项目的研究,有助于提高面向低质量图像的手指静脉识别性能,推动手指静脉识别的学术研究和实用化进程。

英文摘要: As a new personal identification technology, finger vein recognition has high identification accuracy and strong security performance, which can be used in not only military bases, i.e. magazines, but also civil field, i.e. banks, and thus have valuable military and civil applications. The main problem facing currently is the low recognition performance caused by low-quality finger vein images. Therefore, a representative large database of low-quality finger vein images will be built in this work firstly, to be used for algorithm simulation and achievement evaluation. Then a modified binary tree model will be proposed to represent finger vein pattern based on the physiological characteristic of finger vein in low-quality images, which can describe the relationship and spatial structure of vein branches quantitatively. This model can help to explore the distribution regularities and structure differences of finger vein in low-quality images, and has important significance for achieving complete extraction and flexibility matching of finger vein pattern. Then on the basis of the former research on image enhancement and segmentation of finger vein, we will propose a restoration algorithm of finger vein pattern based on the modified binary tree model, to solve the problem of complete extraction of finger vein patter
