中文摘要: 过渡金属氧化物异质界面为人们提供了一个在原子尺度操控电子与自旋的机会。界面电子的多自由度相互作用衍生出很多在块体中无法实现的新奇物性,被称之为界面层展现象。3d轨道氧化物界面已被广泛研究,而将轨道半径、电子带宽、库伦作用等都不同的3d、4d氧化物组合而成的异轨道界面则较少被关注,其中的层展物性及关联物理机制都还不清晰。本项目建议以3d/4d过渡金属氧化物异质界面为对象,以强磁场下超快二次非线性磁光为主要手段,开展异轨道界面中层展物性的研究。项目充分发挥强磁场下超快非线性磁光对界面物性的超高灵敏度,重点研究强磁场下异轨道界面的电、磁结构,在获得界面物性随磁场作用的演变规律基础上,明晰异轨道界面中的关联机理,为其器件应用提供实验基础。

英文摘要: Transition metal oxide heterointerfaces provide us a platform for the manuplaion of electron and spin at the atomic scale. At the oxide interfaces, the correlation between electron, spin, and orbits can produce many interesting phenomena, so called emergent phenomena, which cannot be found in the bulk. The heterointerfaces based on 3d orbits have been studied intensively. Otherwise, the heterointerfaces formed between 3d and 4d orbits were rarely touched. The emergent pheonomena and their physical orgins in these hetero-obit interfaces are not clear up to now. Therefore, we plan to make this proposal and focus on the study of emergent phenomena in the 3d/4d heterointerfaces mainly via magneto-second harmonic generation with high magnetic fields. In this proposal, the pulse laser deposition method will be used to fabricate 3d/4d heterointerfaces and the magneto-second harmonic generation will be used for the detection of electron and spin polarization at the interfaces. Based on those results, the mechanism of interfacial correlation will be analysized and the possible application will be deduced.
