中文摘要: 本项目研究解决面向老年人的自然、智能的计算机界面交互中两个方面的问题。一是研究老年人执行现有的计算机界面任务时的人体工效建模问题,丰富现有的交互模型理论。研究从以用户为中心的设计角度出发,基于认知理论与老年人自身的生理、心理以及个性化的特征,分析与理解界面操作中老年人的行为,研究并提出用户界面交互中的老人人体工效模型。二是研究面向老年人的自适应界面的设计问题。通过分析人体工效模型中影响老年人操作性能的各种主、客观因素,结合决策优化的理论知识,构建界面设计优化算法,优化用户界面中组件的大小、显示特性以及布局等因素,使得系统界面的呈现更加符合老年人的认知、感知与运动特点,降低他们的认知负担,建立老年人友好的自适应界面并给出可用性评估,提高领域应用效能。该项目研究的开展,为下一代自然、和谐的老年人用户界面的研究提供有力的理论基础和方法支持,实现若干理论创新,提升和推广自适应界面技术。

英文摘要: Two issues in the area of Human-Computer Interaction will be addressed in this project, in order to achieve natural and intelligent interface operation for elderly people. The first is to propose human performance model for elderly people by an elderly operating computing tasks on user interface, which can rich in the theory of human performance model. From the perspective of user-centred design,we will investigate and analyze their interactive behaviours by performing various computing tasks and put forward the performance model based on cognitive theory and the physiological, psychological and individualized characters of elderly people. The second is to establish an adaptive interface to adjust any existing interfaces to make it elderly friendly. By analyzing the subjective and objective factors affecting the elderly users performance in the human performance model proposed in the first issues and utilizing the decision optimizaion method, we will build the interface optimization algorithm, which can optimize the size, layout and presentation of components in the computing interface, and make the optimized interface more appropriate to the perceptive, cognitive and movement feature of elderly.
