中文摘要: 宽调谐窄线宽连续太赫兹(THz)辐射源在高分辨率光谱学、传感技术、远程通信等领域有广泛的应用前景,但迄今为止尚缺乏产生宽调谐窄线宽连续THz辐射源的有效方法。本项目针对这一问题,提出采用单频连续全光纤激光器作为泵浦源,在周期极化铌酸锂(PPLN)晶体中级联参量振荡产生高效率宽调谐连续THz辐射源。主要研究内容:(1)研究PPLN晶体中级联参量振荡产生THz波的原理,分析前向级联参量振荡和后向级联参量振荡的条件。设计PPLN晶体参数和谐振腔参数实现泵浦光、Stokes光和THz波共线振荡,提高THz波转换效率;(2)研究泵浦波长、PPLN极化周期、工作温度等参数对THz波频率的影响,通过改变以上参数实现宽调谐THz波输出;(3)实验上,采用单频连续全光纤激光器作为泵浦源,以四镜环形腔作为谐振腔结构,以多周期PPLN晶体为增益介质,实现前向和后向级联参量振荡,输出宽调谐窄线宽连续THz辐射。

英文摘要: Although wide tunable, narrow-linewidth, continuous THz-wave has wide application prospects in high-resolution spectroscopy, sensing technology and telecommunications, progress has been hampered by a lack of methods generating these THz sources. The generation of wide tunable, narrow-linewidth, continuous THz-wave, based on the process of cascaded parametric oscillations in PPLN crystal pumped by a single-frequency continuous-wave all-fiber laser, is proposed to solve the problems mentioned above. The main contents of this project are as follows:(1)Study on the theory of cascaded parametric oscillations in PPLN crystal and analyze the conditions of forward cascaded parametric oscillations and backward cascaded parametric oscillation. Design the parameters of PPLN crystal and resonant cavity to realize collinear oscillation of pump, Stokes and THz-wave, so as to increase conversion efficiency;(2) Study on the tuning characteristics of the THz-wave that are affected by the parameters of pump wavelength, poling period of PPLN and operating temperature. The wide tunable THz-wave generation is achieved by varying the parameters mentioned above; (3) In the experimental aspect, based on the process of forward and backward cascaded parametric oscillations,the generation of wide tunable, narrow-linewidth, continuous THz
