中文摘要: 太赫兹波调制器件是太赫兹波测量及太赫兹波通信的关键技术之一。其中对基体材料的研究是太赫兹波调制器件研究的基础和难点。钛酸铜钙是2000年被报道的一种新型铁电材料,它在室温下具有反常的巨介电特性,是近年来国际上的研究热点。本项目着重于研究基于钛酸铜钙新型铁电材料的太赫兹波调制器件。从影响铁电材料在太赫兹波段介电响应的各种微观机理入手,对太赫兹波与铁电材料相互作用的物理机制进行全面研究。对钛酸铜钙在太赫兹波段的物理性质和介电响应进行深入的实验研究,重点采用电控等手段实现对钛酸铜钙铁电材料在太赫兹波段的介电常数进行调制,并将基于钛酸铜钙新型铁电材料的太赫兹波调制器件集成到太赫兹系统当中。 调制系统等功能器件是太赫兹系统向实用化发展的关键环节之一。本项目研制的钛酸铜钙太赫兹调制器件可集成到大规模太赫兹系统中,将在国防与反恐、大气与天文学、传感与成像、材料与通信、生物与医学等方面有重要的应用

英文摘要: The terahertz modulator is one of the key technologies in the area of terahertz wave measurement and terahertz communication. The research of base material is the foundation and difficulty in terahertz modulators. Ever since CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO), a new ferroelectric material, was first reported in 2000 to have a giant dielectric constant at room temperature, it has drawn the attention of many researchers and become an international research hotspot. This project emphatically studies the terahertz wave modulator based on CCTO new ferroelectric material. We begin from microscopic mechanisms which could be responsible for the dielectric behavior of ferroelectric materials in the terahertz range, then do an overall research of the interaction between ferroelectric materials and terahertz waves. Experimentally investigate the physical characteristics and dielectric properties of CCTO, and emphatically use the electronic control method to modulate the dielectric constant of CCTO in the terahertz range. Finally we integrated the terahertz modulator based on CCTO new ferroelectric material into the terahertz application system.
