中文摘要: 植物类群的起源时间、起源地点、扩散,以及古地质、古气候对物种分化的影响机制是植物系统与进化生物学领域的热点研究问题。 本项目拟以全球分布的小二仙草科为研究模型,开展系统发育、历史生物地理学与物种分化研究。基于对该科的全面采样,利用4种DNA片段构建该科系统进化树;采用基于分子钟和化石校正的分化时间估算方法,揭示该科及各属的起源时间;进行祖先地理分布重建,揭示该科的地理起源,探讨该科实现全球范围分布的路径;分析该科各历史时期分化速率,探讨影响分化速率的古气候 (如气温、CO2)、古地质因素;综合分析各属起源时间、生境、形态学性状等,探讨造成该科各属物种数差异的主要因素。 本项目将为深入理解小二仙草科的系统发育,为该科分类学修订奠定基础;为理解全球分布植物类群的起源、形成全球分布格局的路径,气候、生境变化等对植物物种分化的影响提供新线索。

英文摘要: Exploration the spatio-temporal origin and dispersal of plants, as well as analysis of the paleoclimatic and paleogeographic factor(s) that may affect species diversification are hot research topics in plant systematics and evolution. In this project, we plan to investigate the phylogeny, historical biogeography, and diversification of the worldwidely distributed plant family Haloragaceae. In particular, our objectives are (i) to investigate the phylogenetic relationships of the entire family based on 4 markers; (ii) to infer the divergence times and the ancestral areas, in order to reveal the origin of Haloragaceae and to uncover the main dispersal routes resulting in its worldwide distribution; (iii) to test whether the diversification rate of Haloragaceae was constant or not; (iv) to determine which paleoclimatic and/or paleogeographic factors accounting for the diversification shift; and (v) to identify the main factor(s) leading to the remarkable differences in species number observed among the Haloragaceae genera by analysis of the origin time and morphological characters of each genus. This project will help to understand the phylogeny and make taxonomic revisions for Haloragaceae.
