中文摘要： 中国正处于快速城市化进程中，城市化率首次突破50%，农民工数量已达2.2亿以上。促使农民工、尤其是新生代农民工在城市的稳定居住，进而实现与市民的社会融合将有助于中国城市化进程的顺利推进，有助于社会的稳定发展。本项目在调研及实验数据基础上，研究四个专题：(一)构建农民工从流动到社会融合全过程的理论分析框架；(二)从农民工城市居住选择角度入手，研究四种居住模式下新老两代农民工在居住变迁、现有居住状态、居住选择动因、居住期望及居住能力方面的差异；(三)探讨由居住选择引发的新老两代农民工与市民的社会融合差异，包括不同居住模式下新老农民工对待市民的态度与行为，以及市民对待农民工的态度与行为，进而得到农民工与市民的居住隔离和心理隔离程度，并深入剖析隔离形成的内在机制；(四)在前述研究基础上，结合已有与农民工居住相关的宏微观政策实施效果，提出有效促进农民工社会融合的安居模式创新和管理政策选择。

英文摘要： China is in the process of rapid urbanization, the urbanization rate exceeded 50 percent for the first time, and the number of migrant workers has amounted to more than 220 million,while the intergenerational difference of social integration is obvious.It will help to promote China's urbanization process , the development and stability of society by impelling the stable dwelling of migrant workers in urban,then achieving the social integration especially for the new generation migrant workers. This project includes four subjects: Firstly, the project will construct the theoretic analysis framework of the process from the migration to social integration for migrant workers; Secondly, the project will analyze the intergenerational difference among different dwelling mode of migrant workers from the dwelling choice in urban,including dwelling changes，dwelling condition, motive of dwelling choice, dwelling expect and dwelling ability ;Thirdly, the project will explore the difference of social integration between the old migrant workers and the new migrant workers, including the attitudes and behavior of the migrant workers to the citizen and the attitudes and behavior of the citizen to the migrant workers in difference modes of dwelling, then measure the extent of residential segregation and psychological isolation
