This study focus on the role of oscillation between the basal ganglia (BG) and cortex from different level, such as single neuron, nucleus and cortex. The study is deviede into 2 parts: (1) Wide electrodes are used to record electrical signal of cortex, basal ganglia to observe the abnormal synchronismic oscillation between the basal ganglia-cortex neurocircuits in Parkinson's disease. And study how the abnormal synchronismic oscillation between the basal ganglia-cortex neurocircuits form and develop.besides, the study aim to find relationship between oscillation and PD symptom. (2) Single unit record technology is used to record electrical signal of neurons in Gpi and STN. We hope to find the potential associativity between neurons'signal and that of BG-cortex.The study is helpful to recognize the pathogenetic of PD from a new sight, and is useful to provide new thread and treatment method to PD in clinic.Besides, this study can give us a deeper insight on how the BG-cortex neurocircuits handle the movement information. So it's has great theoretical and practical meaning and should be peformed.
