中文摘要: 近年来高分子纳米复合材料的界面结构与纳米粒子如何影响界面区域的高分子动力学性质及其机理一直广受关注。对于其中界面区域的高分子动力学松弛行为以及与之相伴的玻璃化转变特征与规律,目前尚存争论。本申请项目着重对高分子纳米复合材料体系的界面结构与分子链松弛行为进行系统性的研究。前期研究中,我们利用DMA研究聚乙烯醇/氧化硅纳米复合材料时发现了对应于界面区域受到纳米粒子表面尺寸限制作用的聚乙烯醇分子链的松弛。由此,我们预期可以通过研究几种具有代表性的高分子纳米复合材料体系,发现不同体系中界面结构差异与高分子链松弛行为特征,并研究纳米粒子尺寸、形状等因素对高分子分子链限制作用的影响程度,弄清高分子纳米复合材料的界面结构特征,揭示高分子纳米复合材料的松弛动力学性质相关变化的产生机理,得到影响高分子纳米复合材料界面结构差异及分子链松弛行为变化的规律。

英文摘要: The interface of polymer nanocomposites and the relaxation of interfacial polymer chains have drawn widely attention. However, academic controversy still exists on the mechanism and the law of the relaxation for the interfacial polymer chains associated with the glass transition. Our application is focus on the systematic research for the interfacial structure and the relaxation of the polymer chains in the polymer nanocomposites. From our previous research for PVA/silica nanocomposites, a new tan δ peak was found in DMA curves corresponding to the glass transition of the interfacial immobilized layer on the silica surface for the effect of size and confinement. Therefore, it is expected that the relationship between the interfacial structure and the glass transition(the relaxation of the polymer chains) could be found from the investigations on several representative polymer nanocomposites. And the size effect and shape effect of the nanoparticles on the polymer chains in polymer nanocomposites would also be investigated. After this research, it is anticipated that the structure characteristics of the interface in polymer nanocomposites should be understood. Moreover, the generating mechanism and the change law of the relaxation of polymer chains for polymer nanocomposites should be comprehended.
