中文摘要: 石墨烯卓越的光学、电学性质使其成为一种理想的光电材料。石墨烯与其它二维薄膜的堆叠组合有可能产生新奇的物理现象,带来工业需求的新型光电材料。本项目主要研究石墨烯-硅层状薄膜的可控制备以及相应的非线性光学特性。首先,通过调控基底温度、蒸发速率及退火温度,在单晶Ir(111)表面采用自下而上的方法原位制备石墨烯-硅层状薄膜,通过扫描隧道显微镜(STM)记录C原子穿过硅层形成石墨烯的过程,结合第一性原理计算分析生长过程中的动力学特征和石墨烯与硅层之间的电子转移及相互作用;在此实验基础上,在Ir(111)/YSZ/Si(111) 薄膜表面制备石墨烯-硅层状结构,并将此层状薄膜转移;采用Z扫描技术研究石墨烯-硅层状薄膜的非线性折射率、可饱和吸收曲线和调制深度等非线性光学特性。本项目的开展将对特定的石墨烯光电器件的构建提供更具体的参考依据。

英文摘要: The remarkable optical and electronic properties of graphene make it an ideal photonic and optoelectronic material. The integration of graphene with other two-dimensional thin films has the potential to yield new physical phenomena. In this proposal, the controllable fabrication of graphene-silicon layered thin films and its nonlinear optical response will be fully studied. Firstly, through the adjustment of the experiment condition, the bottom-up approach is employed to fabricate graphene-silicon layered thin films on Ir(111) substrate. By using scanning tunneling microscopy, the process of graphene synthesis will be monitored. Combining with the theoretical calculation, the kinetic characteristics of the growth process and the interaction between graphene and silicon layer will be analyzed. Based on the above experiment, layered thin films will be fabricated on Ir(111)/YSZ/Si(111) thin films. After transferring, the nonlinear refractive index, the saturated absorption spectroscopy and modulation depth of graphene-silicon layered thin films will be studied though Z-scan technique. This project will provide valuable reference for the construction of particular graphene-based optoelectronic devices.
