中文摘要: 离子束与等离子体相互作用研究不仅是复杂环境下原子物理,等离子体物理及天体物理等基础科学研究领域的重要课题,同时也在可控热核聚变,重离子加速器技术等应用研究领域也备受关注。本项目将利用兰州重离子加速器国家实验室提供的keV/u重离子作用于全电离的气体放电等离子体,系统研究重离子的原子序数,电荷态,速度及等离子体的温度和自由电子密度对相互作用过程的影响,探索这一能区下离子束在等离子体中的能量沉积特点,剥离效应及自聚焦效应,为可控热核聚变及离子加速器束流剥离和聚焦新技术研究提供重要数据支持和技术积累。课题组成员相关研究经验丰富,依托单位可提供的离子束不仅在原子序数和初始电荷态方面大范围可调,离子动能也将首次延伸到玻尔速度(25keV/u)附近这一重要而新颖的能区;已有的气体放电装置产生的等离子体温度密度均匀,持续时间长且可实现全电离,非常适于研究等离子体自由电子密度和温度对作用过程的影响。

英文摘要: Investigation of the interaction processes of ion beams with plasma is a very important subject, not only in the fields of fundmental research of atomic physics, plasma physics, astrophysics and so on, but also in applied research such as controlled thermonuclear fusion and heavy ion accelerators. Here we would like to investigate the interaction of keV/u heavy ion with fully ionized gas discharging plasma at the National Laboratory of Heavy Ion accelerators in Lanzhou, the effect of the projectile atomic number, charge state, velocity, and the plasma- temperature and free electron density will be studied so as to reveal the property of energy deposition, stripping and self-focusing effects in the interaction process and provide key data and technique for the research in controlled thermonuclear fusion and the focusing and stripping technique(so called "plasma lens, plasma stripper") in ion accelerators. The research group has very good experience in this field, and the ion beam provided by the associated institute can be adjusted in a large range of initial charge state and atomic number, especially the ion velocity would be firstly extending to the new and unique range: near Bohr velocity(25keV/u).
