中文摘要: 过渡族金属氧化物材料构成的异质界面是一种新型的低维体系,是当前国际上材料科学关注的前沿研究方向之一,由于这类新型界面的自旋输运性质展现出的新现象和潜在应用价值,最近引起了人们的高度关注。本项目把铁磁金属与氧化物异质界面相结合,主要使用激光分子束外延技术结合微纳加工技术制备样品,采用非局域三端法和非局域四端法研究自旋的输运性质。拟首先研究金属覆盖层对氧化物表面或异质界面性质的影响,排除金属电极对自旋输运的非本征影响;进一步通过铁磁金属和氧化物异质界面的相互作用,研究铁磁金属对氧化物异质界面磁性的影响。然后研究缺陷等对自旋注入的影响,门电压对自旋输运的调控等等,另外还尝试纯自旋流注入到氧化物异质结和氧化物自旋晶体管等。

英文摘要: The interface of the transition metal oxide (TMO) heterostructures is a new type of low dimensional interface, which is one of the frontiers of the material science. Owing to the new phenomena and strong potential applications for the spin transport properties at the TMR interfaces, it attracts a lot of attentions. In this project we combine the ferromagnetic metels with TMOs. The samples are fabricated by the pulsed laser molecular beam epitaxy combining with micro- and nano-fabrication techniques. The spin transport properties are studied by the non-local three-terminal and four-terminal methods. Firstly, we will study the influence of the metal capping layer on the surface and the interface of the TMOs to exclude the extrinsic effects of spin transport by the metallic electrodes. The magnetic properties of TMOs are enhanced by the interaction between ferromagnetic metals and TMOs. The influence of the defects on the spin injection and the spin manipulation by the gate voltage, etc., will be studied. In addition, we will try to realize the injection of the pure spin current into the interface of the TMO heterostructures and the TMO spin transistors.
