中文摘要: 随着在青藏高原开展大规模的科学考察活动,有关青藏高原的隆升机制、演化历史、变形机制和岩石圈结构的认识都在不断深化。现有的研究更多在喜马拉雅和青藏高原的中心部位,而对东、西两个构造结所在的边缘区域研究相对薄弱。青藏高原东南缘作为印度板块与欧亚板块碰撞过程中变化最剧烈、结构最复杂、构造最集中的地区,一维、二维反演方法都不足以描述其岩石圈结构的复杂性。从大地电磁测深(MT)方法上,随计算技术以及计算机性能的迅猛发展,有关MT三维反演的理论和应用研究正在各国迅速开展。同时,近年来在青藏高原大量高精度 MT野外观测资料的获得,使得开展三维MT研究成为可能。本项目将在青藏高原东南缘开展大地电磁测深三维反演研究,试图在有关青藏高原东构造结及其邻区的电性结构特征,地壳和上地幔的流变性质以及有关高原地壳流等方面提供新的认识。

英文摘要: With many geological and geophysical works in central Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, Scientists have more understanding on the eruption, evolution and deformation of the Plateau. However, more studies need to be carried out in Eastern and Western Himalayan Syntaxes and the surroundings to know more details of these processes. It is hard to describe the lithospheres' structure with 1D or 2D models because the south-eastern area of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau has the rapid uplift and the most complex geological structures. With the advancement of computing technology and calculating speed, various magnetotelluric (MT) 3-D forward and inversion codes are in use and some have become commonly available. In the same time, a large quantity of high quality MT data has been obtained in Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. It is possible to apply 3-D MT inversion in this area. This project will try to find out the lithosphere's resistivity structure of eastern Syntax and the surrounding area, give more constrains on rheology of crust and mantle and explore the crustal flow in this area.
