中文摘要: 东亚地区分布着若干重要的沙尘源区,对全球环境和气候变化有着举足轻重的影响。该地区地表类型复杂,不同区域大气中水汽条件差异显著,沙尘气溶胶对云及降水的影响仍存在很大的不确定性。本项目拟将卫星资料分析与数值模拟相结合,选取东亚地区具有代表性的典型区域进行重点研究,定量估算东亚地区不同大气背景下沙尘气溶胶影响云滴数浓度、云水路径、冰水路径等云微物理特性的差异,揭示东亚地区沙尘气溶胶影响云、降水及辐射的特征。项目首次将气溶胶三维辐射传输模式引入东亚地区不同大气条件下的沙尘气溶胶直接、间接及半直接辐射效应研究中,并首次通过显式地建立沙尘气溶胶和云中冰核浓度之间的关系,定量研究沙尘气溶胶对云中冰水路径、冰晶粒子浓度等微物理特性的影响。通过本项研究,将有助于提高对东亚地区沙尘气溶胶影响云、降水和辐射收支机理的认识,为揭示东亚沙尘气溶胶在区域及全球气候变化中的作用提供有力的科学依据。

英文摘要: Some important dust sources locate in the East Asia, which influence the global environment and climate. There is a large uncertainty in the impact of the dust aerosol on cloud and radiation. Combing the satellite data analysis with numerical simulation, this project focuses on the transportation process of dust aerosol in East Asia, estimate the influence of dust on microphysics properties of cloud and precipitation, and reveal the difference of the impact of dust aerosol, cloud and radiation budget over different region in East Asia. This project induces a 3-dimenssional radiative transfer model of dust for the first time to simulate the direct, indirect and semi-direct effect of dust. The impact of dust aerosol on the cloud microphysics will be studied through explicit express on the relationship between dust particles and ice nucleation. The research of this project will contribute to improving the understanding to the mechanism of the temperature and precipitation variation over East Asia.
