中文摘要: 非晶态合金,也称为金属玻璃,具有优异的性能,是一类应用前景广泛的新型先进材料。但由于剪切局域化和应变软化,非晶合金的室温变形能力很差。最近的研究表明:当非晶合金接近纳米尺度时变形行为将发生改变;纳米尺度的不均匀性可以显著改变非晶合金的弛豫和塑性。非晶合金纳米量级的不均匀性对力学和弛豫行为的影响还没有进行过系统的研究。本项目利用不同的气相沉积条件,有效调控非晶合金纳米量级不均匀尺度的大小。通过研究纳米尺度的不均匀性对非晶合金变形和弛豫行为的影响,并和传统的非晶合金条带进行对比,建立非晶合金纳米量级的不均匀尺度和力学性能的关联。项目的开展可望提高人们对非晶合金变形微观机制的认识,对设计良好力学性能的非晶合金具有指导意义。

英文摘要: Amorphous alloys, also known as metallic glasses, are novel materials with excellent performance and wide application prospect. However, due to shear localization and strain softening of the amorphous alloy,their plasticity at room temperature is depressingly low. Recent studies show that: (1) the deformation behavior of the amorphous alloy will change when it is close to the nanometer scale, and (2) nanometer-scale heterogeneity can significantly change the relaxation and plasticity behavior of the amorphous alloy. The influence of nanometer-scale heterogeneity on the plasticity and relaxation of amorphous alloy has not been systematically studied. This project uses different vapor deposition conditions to modulate the heterogeneity scale of the amorphous alloy. By comparing the deformation and relaxation of the amorphous alloy with different heterogeneity scale, we try to establish the correlation of the heterogeneity scale and the mechanical and relaxation behavior of amorphous alloy. The project can help us understand the microscopic deformation and relaxation mechanism of amorphous alloy, and provide guideline for designing amorphous alloys with excellent mechanical properties.
