中文摘要: 大规模MIMO技术是提升未来无线通信性能和容量的重要支撑技术;而基于大规模MIMO的检测方法为其核心的实现技术。由于在大规模MIMO系统中,所处理的信道矩阵维度较传统MIMO系统增大了将近两个数量级,因此需要消耗大量的运算资源用于矩阵的乘法和求逆,从而给未来基带信号处理及系统实现带来了巨大的压力。本课题以低复杂度、高性能的MIMO检测算法为切入点,以基于概率计算的MIMO检测算法为核心研究问题;提出了一种基于概率计算的低复杂度检测算法。其利用了概率计算的优良特性,使得处理复杂度大为降低,并有效的提高了处理速率,还降低了处理功耗。通过本课题的研究,使得大规模MIMO检测器在检测性能与传统方法相当的条件下,将速率/硬件复杂度(硬件效率)提高一个数量级,以及能量效率提高一个数量级;从而为未来高速、宽带无线/移动通信系统提供高吞吐量、高效的MIMO检测算法及高效实现方法。

英文摘要: The massive multiple-input multiple-out (MIMO) system is considered as a key technology to improve the performance and capacity of wireless communications. The MIMO detection algorithm design is a critical method to implement the massive MIMO receiver. In the massive MIMO system, the dimension of channel matrix is 100X times larger than the traditional MIMO system. Hence, the huge computation loads of matrix operations are required which brings extremely high pressure for the baseband implementation. This project focuses on the low complexity and high performance massive MIMO detector. The stochastic computation is employed as a core technique to solve the problem, which can implement the complex arithmetic operations with simple logic gates. The goal of this project is improve the hardware efficiency and energy efficiency about 10 times. We believe this project can supply a solution for the requirement of high throughput and high efficiency of future communication system.
