中文摘要: :近年来地震电离层效应研究成为地震学,卫星遥感和空间物理学研究等领域关注的焦点问题之一。地震/海啸激发的同震电离层扰动(Cosesmic Ionospheric Disturbance)现象是其重要的研究方向之一。本课题拟利用广泛分布的地基GPS 数据及其它电离层观测数据,以汶川、玉树地震为切入点,同时考察世界其它地方大地震震例,提取出地震/海啸引起的CID 的扰动传播特性,对比分析磁静日期间由地震/海啸引起的CID 传播情况及其时空分布规律。结合地震震中构造带的研究结果,分析电离层同震效应与地震断裂带结构的潜在关系等变化特征,在此基础上,结合现有电离层/中高层大气模型,分析研究CID 垂直水平传播的规律。本课题的实施将会有利于完善我们对地震电离层耦合模型认识,力图对现有岩石圈-大气层-电离层耦合理论提供重要的实验数据支撑和印证。

英文摘要: The study on seismic ionosphere effects is a popular topics of current seismology, satellite remote sensing, and space physics. The study on Coseismic Ionosphere Disturbances (CID) triggered by earthquake/tsunami is one of the important research directions in these years. Under the support of this project, by using the widespread distribution of ground-based GPS data and other observations of ionosphere, we aim to extract CIDs triggered by the earthquakes occurred at Wenchuan, Yushu, and other huge tsunami and to investigate the regularities of propagation and temporal-spatial distribution of CIDs. On this basis, we plan to to explore the variation characteristics of potential relationship between CIDs and fault zone structure, combined the investigation results of rupture feature of epicentre. Moreover, the features and rules of vertical and horizontal propogation of CIDs would be discussed by means of the ionospheric/the middle and upper atmospheric model. This research will be helpful for finding out the locations of the earthquakes and improve our current understanding in the physics mechanisms of Lithosphere-Atmosphere-Ionosphere (LAI) coupling related to earthquakes. Furthermore, the investigation can provide the support for experimental data supporting and theory to prove current LAI coupling models.
