中文摘要: 酸性食物或细菌产生的酸性物质将腐蚀牙齿并导致产生龋齿。人们近期提出在牙齿表面镀上一层薄膜来保护牙齿,并利用生物可降解的黄原胶来对抗酸性物质对牙齿的腐蚀作用,但尚缺乏对其作用机理的深入研究。本项目首先利用原子力显微镜(AFM)研究黄原胶纳米结构在牙齿表面的形貌特征及形成条件,包括黄原胶的溶液浓度、退火温度、退火时间等条件;然后利用基于AFM的单分子力谱技术(SMFS),研究黄原胶纳米结构在牙齿表面上的力学特性,获取不同条件下黄原胶在牙齿表面的粘附性;最后,针对产生龋齿的原因,即酸性食物腐蚀和细菌不断产生的酸性物质的腐蚀,研究牙齿表面黄原胶纳米结构的抗酸腐蚀性和抑菌性,在微观尺度上揭示黄原胶对牙齿抗酸性腐蚀的机理,为更有效地利用黄原胶等高分子保护牙齿提供参考。我们前期已经研究了云母和树脂表面上黄原胶纳米结构的形貌和力学性质,为本项目提出的在牙齿表面进行的相应研究提供了可行性探索和借鉴经验。

英文摘要: Acidic foods or acidic substances produced by bacteria will corrode the teeth and result in teeth caries. To protect teeth from acidic erosion, recently people have proposed to coat the dental enamel surfaces with a layer of biodegradable xanthan gum, but so far the mechanism of the teeth protection by the xanthan gum has not been explored. The aim of this project is firstly to use Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) to study the morphology of the nano-structure of the xanthan gum assembled on dental enamel under different conditions, including the solution concentration of xanthan gum, annealing temperature and annealing time. Then we will use the Single-Molecule Force Spectrum (SMFS) technology based on AFM to study the mechanical properties of the nano-structure of xanthan gum on the tooth surface and obtain the adhesion of the xanthan gum under different conditions on the surface of the tooth; Finally, in consideration of the cause of caries, the acidoresistance and bacteriostatic properties of the xanthan nano-structure will be tested and the mechanism of the xanthan gum against acid corrosion will be revealed on a microscopic scale, which will contribute to application of xanthan gum and other macromolecule to be used for teeth protection.
