中文摘要: 滚动轴承的工作性能和寿命依赖于润滑脂在滚子滚道之间形成的可分隔接触表面的润滑膜。一个滚子与滚道间的弹流接触出口区油膜,在其他复杂因素影响下,作为下一个滚子与滚道的弹流接触的入口区油膜,常会造成乏油。此现象典型地出现在高速滚动轴承中。因乏油的发生,润滑脂通常不能确保在轴承的整个疲劳寿命期间建立起足够厚的润滑膜,导致轴承的服务寿命受制于润滑脂的寿命。因此,预测润滑脂的寿命即预测何时润滑油膜的形成能力在一极限值下降低是极为重要的。然而,由于滚子与内外圈滚道所形成的跑道上供给弹流润滑接触区入口的油层形状和厚度未知,对滚动轴承中油膜厚度的预测仍然是一项重要挑战。本研究将从理论和实验两个方面:研究重力、离心力、滚子的自旋、流变性、温升的影响以及接触界面的速度和温度滑移等因素对高速滚动轴承旋转自由表面润滑油层分布的作用以及对弹流润滑接触的影响,有助于更有效、更经济、更环保的轴承润滑设计。

英文摘要: The performance and life of rolling element bearings depends on the lubricant film formed between roller-raceway contacts. The elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL) film of one roller-raceway contact,also influenced by other complicated factors, works as the inlet supply for the next roller-raceway EHL contact and usually causes starvation. This phenomenon typically occurs in high-speed rolling element bearings. Due to the appearance of starvation,grease is often not able to ensure a sufficient thick lubricant film in the roller-raceway contacts throughout the entire fatigue life of the bearings, and its service life is restricted by what is referred to as grease life. Hence, it is of major importance to be able to predict the grease life, i.e., to predict when the lubricant film formation capability has decreased below a certain critical value. However, because the thickness and shape of the oil layer formed on the track of roller-raceway contacts is usually unknown, it is still a great challenge to predict the oil film thickness in bearings. By this project, the team will carry out parallel theoretical and experimental researches to elucidate the flow mechanism of thin lubricant layer on the contact track by the effects of gravity,centrifugal forces,roller's spin, rheology,thermal rise and interfacial speed and
