中文摘要: 在青年基金项目的研究中,申请人深入分析了广义高斯分布的基础信源率失真规律,设计了SVC的快速率失真优化框架,建立了基于包的精确率失真模型,并在此基础上提出了SVC的优先级调度算法,结合无线信道传输保护策略实现了单用户的高质量可伸缩视频服务。本项目于顶级期刊TCSVT上发表文章2篇,投稿顶级期刊TIP文章2篇,一审评委评价很高,正二审中,另有7篇文章被主流国际会议所接收,申请专利10项。围绕青年科学基金的研究进展,下一步的工作将以基础信源理论的进一步研究为起点,首先进行广义柯西分布在通用量化模式下的率失真分析,并将基础信源理论成果应用于求解可伸缩编码的最优分级量化问题;然后面向下一代视频编码标准(国际标准HEVC以及我国自主标准AVS2)设计高效的可伸缩编码框架和算法,提高可伸缩视频的编码效率;最后在信源模型和最新可伸缩框架研究的基础上,根据不同应用场景为多用户提供高质量的可伸缩视频服务。

英文摘要: In the research of NSFC project under contract No.60902004, we have thoroughly analyzed the rate-distortion properties of the dead-zone plus uniform threshold scalar quantizers with nearly-uniform reconstruction quantizers (DZ+UTSQ/NURQ) for generalized Gaussian distribution, and we have developed fast rate-distortion optimization scheme for the latest scalable video coding standard H.264/SVC. On this basis, a priority scheduling algorithm has been proposed for SVC, together with the special scalable video transmission strategy, which has achieved high quality scalable video service for single user. During this research, we have published two papers in the top international Transaction on Circuits and Video Technology. Also, we have submitted two papers to the top international Transaction on Image Processing and received considerable evaluations from the reviewers. Meanwhile, seven papers of our work have been accepted by the major international conferences in video coding field such as DCC, VCIP, ISCAS, ICME and ICIP. In addition, we have already applied ten patents of related video coding technologies.
