中文摘要: 含有碳氮双键的亚胺化合物是重要的有机合成中间体,研究亚胺的高效、绿色合成具有重要意义。传统的亚胺合成方法存在反应难以控制(醛胺缩合法)、使用当量腐蚀性强氧化剂(氧化偶联法)等缺点,本项目以绿色化学为理念,利用可见光催化和串联反应的策略,从廉价的芳香醇和胺原料出发,发展一种环境友好且原子经济的亚胺合成新方法。本项目的创新点在于:一是开发利用廉价的光敏剂和催化剂,通过高效的电子转移和质子转移,实现一级和二级芳香醇高效、高选择性地分别转化为醛和酮并放出氢气;二是光催化芳香醇氧化、生成的醛或酮与胺缩合两步反应的串联,实现亚胺化合物的绿色合成。光敏氧化生成的醛、酮即时与胺缩合,控制了醛、酮的浓度,避免了激烈反应,减少了副产物的生成。本项目还特利用稳态和时间分辨技术研究反应的电子转移历程,分析反应的动力学行为,阐明反应机制,为该反应策略在有机合成中的拓展应用奠定理论基础。

英文摘要: Imines derivatives, which bear the reactive C=N bond, represent one kind of important intermediates in the synthesis of dyes, pharmaceuticals and agricultural chemicals. In this proposal, a visible-light-catalyzed tandem oxidation-condensation method for imine synthesis will be developed, by using readily available and inexpensive aromatic alcohols and amines. The process consists of two steps. The first step is the visible-light-catalyzed alcohol oxidation coupled to hydrogen evolution. In this step, a cheap and visible-light-absorbing photosensitizer and a catalyst able to reduce protons to hydrogen will be used to oxidize primary and secondary aromatic alcohols respectively to aldehydes and ketones in the absence of a sacrificial oxidant. An equivalent amount of hydrogen will be generated as the sole byproduct. The second step is the condensation between the produced aldehyde or ketone and an amine to form the corresponding imine. As the aldehyde or ketone, once formed, immediately react with amine, its concentration will be low during the course of condensation. Thus, the second step would be also easy to control.
