Nowadays, the disease diagnosis and choice of treatment options to patients with depression, rely mainly on the depiction of patients or relatives, the clinical rating scale and the experience of clinicians. Subjectivity, they are lack of assist from objective biological information indicators. We plan to take the experimental data to magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) as the carrier, and study the directed connectivity mechanism in the brain functional networks of patients with depression. Through complex network analysis methods, we quantify the the effects of of magnetic resonance imaging time series, then determine and describe the causality between different brain regions in the statistical sense. We analyze the directed connectivity mechanism which reflects the transfer direction of physiological and psychological information, to explore the causes of the changes in brain functional characteristic parameters, and improve the topology formed by the interaction of various brain regions. The analysis of collaborative work mode and regulation relationship among brain regions, will help to find the role of a specific brain region in the correlative directed connectivity that embodies the pathogenesis and symptoms of depression, and bring a better explanation of information processing and spiritual expression mec
