中文摘要: 当前基于脑成像技术的测谎方法主要采集单模态的脑电(EEG)或者功能磁共振(fMRI)信号。由于各自空间或时间分辨率较低,导致目前对谎言加工神经机制的认识不足,测谎准确率仍较低。本项目对多名诚实及说谎者的EEG及fMRI信号同步采集,研究有效的对EEG信号进行噪声去除的算法,采用EEG相关的fMRI成像融合方式,建立融合单试次EEG动态特征的功能激活脑区,为深刻揭示谎言的神经生理机制奠定基础。此项目研究内容及成果将克服当前基于EEG或fMRI测谎技术的诸多弊端,深化对谎言过程中人脑信息加工机制的认识,提升测谎技术鲁棒性及测谎准确率,在临床、刑侦和反恐等方面会有更广应用。

英文摘要: The main approach of single modal lie detection method based on brain imaging technology is electroencephalogram (EEG) or functional magnetic resonance (fMRI) signal. Due to their low spatial or temporal resolution, the current understanding of the neural mechanisms of lie processing is insufficient and polygraph accurate rate is still not high. In this project, many honest and lying subjects’ EEG and fMRI signals were acquisited. We will research effective algorithm to remove artifact of EEG, and using EEG related fMRI method, we characterize dynamic single trial EEG signals and set up the activated brain regions, which will provide the basis of the brain functional network to explore the physiological mechanism underling deception.The research contents and results of this project will overcome the current disadvantages based on EEG or fMRI technology, deepen the understanding of the human brain information processing mechanism for lying, and enhance the robustness and accuracy of detecting lying, which have wide application in clinical, criminal investigation and other aspects of counter-terrorism.
