中文摘要: 凹距飞虱隶属于半翅目蜡蝉总科飞虱科,全世界已记录36属188种,主要分布于东洋界。该类群大多数属种专门取食为害竹类植物,不少种类是竹子的重要害虫。目前该族昆虫在物种多样性调查、比较形态学研究、近缘(疑难)属种鉴定、系统发育研究等方面还存在不少问题。本项目拟基于形态学特征和分子数据对凹距飞虱族开展深入的系统学研究,主要内容包括:全面收集该类群标本,开展属种的形态学分类,基本查清我国凹距飞虱的种类组成;发现、描记、绘图并发表新属、新种;开展代表属种的雌雄外生殖器等主要特征的比较形态学研究,订正以往的错误鉴定;以DNA条形码为主要手段,利用现代分子生物学技术和方法,开展近缘属种的分子鉴定,构建重要种类的DNA条形码数据库;结合形态学特征和分子数据,进行系统发育支序分析,构建系统树,修订该类群的分类系统。研究结果可为头喙亚目昆虫系统演化、农林害虫种类鉴定、生物学、生态学研究及其防控等提供基础资料。

英文摘要: The planthopper tribe Tropidocephalini (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea: Delphacidae) presently includes 36 genera and 188 species in the world and mainly distribute in Oriental Region. Most genera and species of this group feed exclusively on bamboo and some of them have become important pests of bamboo. However, there are a lot of problems in this tribe, such as species diversity, comparative morphology, identification of relative or difficult genera and species, and phylogenetic relationship. In this work, we plan to study the taxonomy and phylogenetic relationship of the planthopper tribe Tropidocephalini (Hemiptera: Auchnorrhyncha: Fulgoroidea: Delphacidae) based on morphological and molecular data. Main content including: 1) collecting specimens and identifying them, feeling out the exact details of species; 2) finding, describing, illustrating and publishing more new taxa; 3) studying on the comparative morphology mainly based on the genitalia of male and female, and revising the misidentification; 4)identifying the closely related genera and speciese based on DNA barcodes technique and constructing DNA barcodes database of important taxa within Tropidocephalini; 5)analysing the phylogenetic relationship of Tropidocephalini by combining the morphological and the molecular data. The results of this work will provide basal data for studying on the phylogenetics of Auchnorrhyncha, species identification, biology and bionomics of pests and the pests controling in agriculture and forestry.
