中文摘要: 随着无线网络技术的日臻完善和移动设备的普及,基于无线网络的新型移动设备正在逐渐构成新的信息交流和移动计算平台。然而,无线网络中普遍存在高丢包率和误码率,以及移动设备本身所固有的低功耗、低计算性能与小屏幕等缺陷,还不能完全满足三维图形的鲁棒传输与实时交互处理要求,阻碍了移动设备上三维图形应用的进一步发展。本项目主要研究无线有损网络中三维模型的传输机制和高效的移动图形流水线体系结构及相关优化算法,力争在无差错传输的模型构建、协议设计,基于视觉优化的三维模型编码及其重构技术,三维流水线加速技术与优化算法等关键技术问题研究上取得突破,提供新的研究方法和思路,完善和发展移动图形计算理论与方法。

英文摘要: With the mature of the mobile network infrastructure, the widely used fresh mobile handheld devices are becoming a new information exchanging and mobile computing platform. However, the shortcomings of high packet-loss-ratio and error-ratio among wireless network and the limitations of low power consumption and low computing performance for mobile devices, which cannot meet the need of the robust transmission and realtime interaction for 3D model, hinder the further developing of 3D graphics application on mobile devices, such as the applications of e-bussiness, mobile game and kinds of digital media. Therefore, this project mainly discusses model transmission mechanism among wireless network and high performance graphics pipeline on mobile devices. In detail, the project hopes major achievements would be appeared in the following parts. The first part are the researches for error-resilient model transmission and protocol design. The second part are the researches for perceptual optimized model coding and reconstruction. The last part are the researches for speedup technologies and optimized algorithms for mobile 3D graphics pipeline. Through above investigations, this project would provide novel methods and basic principles for the relaziation of efficient 3D model transmission and rendering among wireless network and thus improve or develop both theory and methodology for the research field of moblie graphics computing.
