中文摘要: 空间数据起源是网络地理信息系统和服务基础研究和深层次应用不可或缺的部分,在网络地学数据产品溯源、追踪、复制、更新、可靠性和质量评估中凸现其重要性,已经成为地球系统科学网络化信息基础设施建设的基础性问题。传统空间数据起源研究局限于孤立的信息环境,不适应分布、协作、可扩展的网络化环境,起源信息多依赖专家记忆或手工记录,没有考虑松散耦合服务环境下空间信息服务聚合的动态性,缺乏适应网络环境的空间数据起源模型,难以实现计算机的自动追踪和处理,导致不同时期、不同来源、族系相关的数据产品的起源信息无法快速集成和分析,不利于地学数据产品的长期保存和解读。本项目将空间数据起源研究与空间信息服务框架相结合,研究建立支持空间信息服务的空间数据起源模型及其语义表达,探讨面向服务聚合的空间数据起源追踪方法,实现适应空间信息服务架构的空间数据起源服务,为空间信息服务环境下空间数据起源自动追踪和共享提供可行的解决方案。

英文摘要: Geospatial provenance is a key issue in the fundamental research and in-depth applications of Web-based geographical information systems and services. It is especially important in identifying the original data sources, tracing the workflow, updating or reproducing scientific results, and evaluating the reliability and quality of Web-based geospatial data products. The geospatial provenance has become a fundamental issue in establishing the geoscientific cyberinfrastructure. Conventional research on geospatial provenance is limited to a siloed information environment. It cannot work well in a distributed, collaborative, and scalable network environment, since the provenance is recorded mainly by manual work, and cannot be traced and processed automatically in a loosely-coupled service environment where geospatial services are aggregated dynamically. The lack of proper geospatial provenance model for Web environment also prevents provenance of geospatial data products that may be in different time and sources and lineage-related from being rapidly integrated and analyzed, and makes the long-term preservation and understanding of Earth science data problematic.
