The surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) of metal nanoparticle oligomer arrays and optical properties have recived wordwide concerns in many domains, such as optical information processing, medical treatment and metamaterials. In spite of the considerable progress, there is no report on the plasmon polariton of cube nano oligomers consisting of different materials.Recently, our study shows that, except the coupling between the nanoparticle plasmon modes, the induced surface charge distribution plays an important role to the intrinsic energy of the collective plasmon modes.Therefor, the aims of the project are to study the plasmon modes of the hybrid nano oligomer arrays, the surface charge distributions and the dynamic process of the plasmon mode excitation and the interaction between SPPs and the external excited light by using analatical, numerical and experimental methods. (1)Using the improved boundary integral method and symmetry analysis, we will derive the SPP expression of the hybrid nanoparticle oligomers;(2)We will build the dynamic model of the surface plasmon polariton excitation of the hybrid nano oligomer arrays;(3)We will experimentally investigate the interaction between the surface plasmon polariton and the external excitation sources, especially the Fano resonance. Expect to make some contributions to the applications of the nanomaterials.
