中文摘要: 量子纠缠及其所蕴含的量子非定域性是量子理论区别于经典理论的重要特征。纠缠态被认为是实现量子信息处理的核心物理资源。而其中的多体量子纠缠有着本质上异于两体纠缠的特性,在可扩展量子计算以及量子算法中起着不可或缺的作用。对量子纠缠进行定性和定量的研究是量子信息理论的一个重要课题。本项目拟在以往研究的基础上,通过应用新的分类思想和数学手段,对多体量子态的纠缠结构和纠缠度量进行研究。主要研究内容包括:基于SLOCC等价性的量子多体纠缠态的分类;特定三体至部分多体SLOCC纠缠类中的纠缠度量。本项目的研究将揭示多体量子纠缠体系不同于两体纠缠的更多特性,由此可深化对量子纠缠及其包含的非定域性的理解。同时,新的更广泛的纠缠形式的揭示,对基于多体量子纠缠的量子计算和量子算法等量子信息理论的研究有重要启示意义。

英文摘要: Quantum entanglement represents the essence of quantum theory compared to the classical theories. Entanglement is now regarded as the key physical resource in quantum information processing, and the multipartite entanglement which is intrinsically different from its bipartite counterpart plays an important role in the scalable quantum computation and quantum algorithm. Therefore the qualitative and quantitative study of the multipartite entanglement becomes important topics in quantum information science. The present project is intended to study the entanglement structure and the possible entanglement measures of multipartite states based on the newly developed classification scheme proposed in our previous works. The main content of the project includes: the entanglement classification of multipartite entanglement under the SLOCC equivalence; the entanglement measures for specific SLOCC equivalent classes of tripartite and some multipartite entangled states. The study would unveil new features of multipartite entanglement which is different with that of bipartite ones, and may help us make deeper understanding of quantum nonlocality. Meanwhile, the new features would also shed new light on the new applications of the quantum information theory, especially the quantum computation and quantum algorithm.
