中文摘要: 全固态可调谐激光器在军事和民用方面有广泛的用途,其核心是可调谐激光晶体。目前商品化的几个可调谐激光晶体均存在局限性,探索适合半导体激光器泵浦的新可调谐激光晶体具有重要意义。本课题将结构分析和晶体场理论有机地结合起来,系统分析硅酸盐化合物的结构类型,探索出具有弱晶体场的硅酸盐化合物ABSi2O6 (A = Na,K, Ca; B = Mg, Al),其[BO6] 配位体为八面体,适合Cr3+离子进入而产生宽带吸收和发射,从而获得适合AlGaInP LD泵浦的可调谐激光材料。通过特殊的温场设计、分阶段退火和加入助熔剂等方法,解决生长速度慢、易形成包裹体、退火时易开裂等问题,生长出光学质量优良的Cr3+:ABSi2O6晶体。得到其详细参数,开展激光实验,得到大于毫瓦级的可调谐激光输出。获得一类新的实用的可调谐激光晶体。发表8-12篇论文,申请3-6件专利。

英文摘要: All solid state tunable laser technology has wide applications in many fields, in which, the core is tunable laser crystals. There are a few commercial tunable laser crystals, but all of them exsit limitations, so it is necessary to explore new tunable laser crystals. By using the structural analysis method and crystal field theory to analysize the silicates' structure, a group silicate compounds with the formula of ABSi2O6 (A = Na,K,Ca; B = Mg,Al) were found to have weak crystal field. Their [BO6] ligand with an octahedral structure is suitable for Cr3+ ion, broadband absorption and emission are expected when Cr3+ ion is doped, then new tunable laser materials would be obtained. By using the innovative methods as follows: designing special temperature field for the growing furnace, annealing with special program, adding flux and so on, bulk new tunable laser crystals of Cr3+:ABSi2O6 with big dimension and good optical quality will be obtained. After measuring their parameters, laser experiments will be carried out, and tunable laser with mW level can be achieved. Then, new tunable laser crystals will be obtained. 8-12 papers and 3-6 patents will be achieved.
