中文摘要: 强子产生关联是探测夸克胶子等离子体(QGP)产生及其性质的敏感探针。大型强子对撞机(LHC)实验数据显示,在中小横动量(p_T)区,强子产生关联存在一些不同于RHIC实验的新现象,如k_s^0介子和Lambda重子的椭圆流(v_2)在质心系碰撞能量5.02TeV的p+Pb反应中呈现组分夸克数标度性,而在通常认为有QGP产生的2.76TeV的Pb+Pb碰撞中却出现破缺。QGP在p+Pb反应中是否已经产生?Pb+Pb碰撞中v_2破缺的物理如何理解?本项目拟结合LHC实验,系统研究p+Pb和Pb+Pb碰撞中的强子产生性质。重点考查轻强子、奇异强子和重味强子的产额关联,中等p_T区强子v_2的标度性及与双强子方位角关联相关的核修正因子I_{AA}在近端的增强现象等。深入理解QGP新物态、强子产生机制及喷注与QGP相互作用性质。

英文摘要: Hadron production correlations are sensitive observables to probe the creation and properties of the Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP). Recent data at LHC exhibit a series of interesting phenomena, e.g., the quark number scaling of elliptic flows (v_2) of k_s^0 mesons and Lambda baryons exists in 5.02 TeV p+Pb collisions while it breaks down in 2.76 TeV Pb+Pb collisions where the QGP has been produced. Is there QGP created in p+Pb collisions? Why the quark number scaling of v_2 breaks down in Pb+Pb collisions? In this project, we will systematically investigate the production properties of various hadrons, focusing on yield correlations of light, strange and heavy flavor hadrons, and the quark number scaling of v_2 as well as the enhancement of the modification factor I_{AA} on the near side. This will provide further understanding of the new QGP state, the production mechanism of hadrons and the interactions of QGP and jets.
