中文摘要: 结构色材料在全色显示、光波导、化学/生物学传感器等新型光学器件中具有非常诱人的应用前景。但传统结构色材料在其结构受到破坏后往往不能自动快速恢复其光学性质,严重影响了结构色材料的色彩稳定性和相应光学器件的使用寿命。因此,结构色材料在高性能光学器件中的广泛应用受到了极大的限制。本项目拟利用单分散胶体微球或胶体晶体微珠阵列结构提供光学性质,同时借助自修复超分子聚合物框架网络维持光学结构和光学性质的稳定性,发展几种具有可控光学结构和光学性质的自修复结构色薄膜。自修复结构色纳米复合薄膜的简便制备为提高结构色材料的结构稳定性和延长其使用寿命提供了理想解决方案,将在很大程度上推动结构色材料在显示、传感器等高性能光学器件中的广泛实际应用。

英文摘要: Structure colored materials have promising applications in full-color displays, optical waveguides, bio/chemical sensors and other novel optical devices. But the traditional structure-colored materials couldn’t restore functions from mechanical damages autonomously, which greatly hinders their real-world applications due to their low structural stability and short lifespans. In this project, series of autonomously self-healable structure-colored nanocomposites with controlled photonic structures and thus different optical performances will be developed. The colloidal or colloidal crystal bead arrays in the nanocomposites provide the optical properties and the self-healing polymer matrix secures the structure and optical stability. The self-healable structure-colored nanocomposites provides an ideal strategy for stable structure colors with long lifespans, which will greatly promote their the applications in displays, sensors and other high performance optics.
