中文摘要: 由于个人护理品的广泛使用,其中起防晒作用的紫外吸收剂引起的环境污染问题近年来开始受到人们的关注。紫外吸收剂经由城市污水处理厂排放到自然环境,而大量集中的排放造成了受纳水环境中紫外吸收剂的污染。目前国内外研究主要集中于它们的环境监测和生态毒性,而对于水环境中紫外吸收剂的环境归趋缺乏系统的研究。本项目将在前期研究基础上以东江流域典型河流为研究区域,开展代表性紫外吸收剂的源汇过程与环境归趋研究:重点研究14种紫外吸收剂在城市污水处理厂的污染特征、去除规律及其对受纳水体的输入贡献,阐明其在受纳水环境介质中的分配和生物富集机制;并在实验室条件下进一步研究典型紫外吸收剂在水-沉积物体系好氧和厌氧条件下的微生物降解规律。通过野外调查和实验室研究相结合,探讨紫外吸收剂从源到汇的污染过程及其环境归趋,为评价其生态健康风险提供基础科学数据。

英文摘要: UV filters have been widely used in personal care products as additives to protect the consumer from UV radiation. The UV filters pollution in aquatic environments has recently received considerable attention due to the widespread use of personal care products. Discharge from wastewater treatment plants is a major pathway of UV filters entering the aquatic environment and resulting in water pollution. The reported research mainly focused on the investigation of concentrations of UV filters in the environment and ecotoxicological effects. So far, little has been known about the fate of UV filters in aquatic environments. On the basis of previous investigations, this project will study sources and exports and environmental fate of representative UV filters in a typical river of Dongjiang Basin. This investigation includes: (1) the pollution characteristics, removal rates and output load to receiving water of 14 UV filters in wastewater treatment plants, (2) distribution and biological enrichment mechanisms of UV filters in aquatic matrices and (3) microbial degradation of the representative UV filters in simulated water-sediment systems under different redox conditions.
