中文摘要: 基于云架构的无线接入网络通过天线拉远密集部署、处理单元集中放置,能大幅度降低网络部署成本,并易于实现多天线合作、干扰消除等技术,从而有效提高网络容量,是未来网络架构演进的方向。目前,云架构无线接入网的相关研究主要局限于系统架构设计及容量性能分析,较少考虑上层业务特性。事实上,不同业务的信令与数据对资源的占用差异很大,时空上也呈现出动态性,对系统资源的管理和利用提出了更高要求。本项目针对业务的多样性和动态性,研究云架构无线接入网的资源分配问题,以提高系统资源利用率。主要研究内容包括:首先,在无线接入端研究无线资源的优化分配,以同时满足多类业务的接入需求;其次,建立云端计算资源能耗模型,研究基带处理的计算资源调度,实现计算资源与业务的动态适配;最后搭建软件无线电演示平台,验证算法性能。本项目的研究为基于多业务的高效资源分配提供了理论依据和技术参考,对云架构无线接入网络的实用化具有重要意义。

英文摘要: With densely deployed distributed antennas and centralized signal processing units, cloud radio access networks (RAN) can greatly reduce the cost of network deployment. In addition, multi-antenna cooperation, interference cancelation techniques are easy to be implemented in such a network, which can effectively enhance the network capacity. Hence, cloud RAN is considered as one of the important candidates for the future network architecture. Currently, related researches mainly focus on the system design and the capacity analysis, while the influence of upper layer traffic features is not considered. In fact, the resource occupation between signaling and data varies among different traffics, and the traffic variation in time domain is significant, which results in insufficient resource utilization. This project will study the resource allocation problem in cloud RAN according to the traffic variation and dynamics in order to improve resource efficiency. The research includes: Firstly, we study the wireless resource allocation at access side, to satisfy the differentiated traffic requirements. Secondly, we establish the energy consumption model of computing resource at cloud side, and design computing resource scheduling algorithm to match the resource utilization with the traffic dynamics.
