中文摘要: 中红外光纤激光器在激光雷达、生物医疗、遥感等领域具有重要的应用前景。本项目瞄准解决中红外光纤激光器核心增益介质这一前沿课题,提出利用中红外荧光纳米晶掺杂玻璃来解决中红外玻璃光纤及光纤激光器存在的瓶颈问题。项目将围绕单分散稀土掺杂纳米晶的可控合成、分散和羟基去除,实现纳米晶的高量子效率中红外荧光发射;研究稀土离子共掺的离子间能量传递原理和发光增强机制;利用改良的共融技术制备中红外荧光纳米晶掺杂玻璃,探讨纳米晶与玻璃基质共融复合过程中,纳米晶的迁移、消融与演变的动力学过程,以及纳米晶与玻璃基质界面对光学性能的影响规律;开拓低损耗高增益纳米晶掺杂玻璃制备新技术,为中红外玻璃光纤及光纤激光器的发展奠定科学依据与物质基础!

英文摘要: Mid-infrared fiber lasers (MIR-FL) have attracted great attention owing to their potential applications in laser radar, medical treatment, and remote sensing, etc. Our project is focusing on the research of the gain medium of MIR-FL. Herein, we try to resolve this bottleneck problem by developing the novel MIR luminescent nanocrystals-doped glass as gain medium. Firstly, we synthesize mono-dispersed RE-doped nanocrystals by chemical method. After the dehydration of as-prepared RE-doped nanocrystals, the nanocrystals can exhibit intense MIR emission. Secondly, utilizing time-resolved luminescence spectra, the MIR emission mechanism of RE-single/co-doped nanocrystals can be founded. Thirdly, MIR luminescent nanocrystals-doped glass is prepared utilizing novel modified co-melting technique. Based on the above experimental process, we will try to clarify series of scientific problems about the dynamic migration, ablation and evolution mechanism during the co-melting process. Finally, MIR luminescent nanocrystals-doped glass with low-loss and high-gain is developed, which is expected to work as high gain MIR glass fibers and the key gain medium of MIR-FL.
