中文摘要: 液体晃荡是指带有自由液面的流体在容器中的受迫运动,它是海岸、海洋及船舶工程领域的前沿课题之一。本项目将基于能够处理出水结构物与自由面紊流相互作用的"虚拟边界力"VBF法,开发一个用于模拟带有隔板的储液容器在波浪作用下以任意六个自由度作受迫运动的全三维液体晃荡数值模型,模型同时能够精确模拟非线性液体晃荡产生的自由液面破碎情况。利用不规则波造波机系统设计建立两自由度运动的液体晃荡试验装置,进行液体晃荡试验研究用于验证数值模型。同时我们将利用数值模拟和模型试验相结合的方法,系统开展波浪作用下大型LNG舱内液体晃荡特性及隔板减晃机理研究,揭示不同类型晃荡波的产生机理、晃荡压力在容器内壁、顶部及角隅的分布规律和不同类型隔板的减晃机理。研究工作可以增加对真实海况作用下LNG舱内非线性液体晃荡规律的认识,提出能够最大限度减小液体晃荡的优化设计方法,提升大型LNG船等储液容器的设计理念。

英文摘要: Liquid sloshing is free surface flow problem in a tank which is subjected to forced oscillation, which is one of frontier topics in coastal, ocean and ship engineering. The goal of this proposal is to develope a completed three-dimensional liquid sloshing numerical model with arbitrary six degree-of-freedom (DOF) motions by using "Virtual Boundary Force" VBF method which can study free surface turbulence interaction with surface-piercing structure, to simulate nonlinear liquid sloshing with broken free surfaces in a baffled liquid storage container under wave excitation. An experimental setup of sloshing having two DOF motions will be developed with the aid of irregular wave-maker system to conduct some laboratory experiments for modeling validation purpose. A systematic numerical simulations and experimental studies on liquid sloshing characteristics and baffle damping mechanism in a large-scale LNG tank under wave excitation are to be carried out to reveal the mechanism of production of sloshing waves with different types, pressure distribution on the tank walls, roof and corners and the damping mechanism of the different shape and arrangements baffles on reducing sloshing.
