中文摘要: 氢能的开发利用是现今公认的解决能源枯竭及环境污染问题的有效途径之一,太阳能光解水产氢技术成为制备氢能的理想技术。控制材料对光的吸收,使更多的光子与物质发生相互作用,激发出更多载流子用于光解水反应,将从根本上提高太阳光的转化效率,对高效利用太阳能具有至关重要的意义。本项目旨在研究在光子晶体结构中存在的“慢光子效应”以及贵金属颗粒的表面等离子体共振效应对材料的光吸收所产生的影响,拟通过设计各种含有贵金属纳米颗粒的光子晶体结构光催化体系,调控其中的“慢光子效应”和表面等离子体共振效应,深入揭示两种效应的协同作用如何发生以及相互影响,并应用于促进光解水产氢性能。

英文摘要: The utilization and development of hydrogen energy have been considered as one of the most efficient ways to solve the problems of energy crisis and environmental pollution. Photochemical water splitting is one of the most ideal techniques for hydrogen generation. The light absorption enhancement of materials will result in more photons interacting with the materials. It will be beneficial to more charge carriers generation for water splitting reactions and increase the light conversion efficiency fundamentally. In this project, we aim to study the effect on the light absorption of materials by the “slow photon effect” in photonic crystals and the Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) in noble metallic nanoparticles . We design various photonic crystals structured photocatalysts loaded with noble metallic nanoparticles. It is anticipated that coupling the “slow photon effect” with the SPR will promote the light absorption of photonic crystals. The study of the “slow photon effect” and the SPR in the photocatalysts will reveal how the coupling effect works in detail and the outcome of the coupling effect will be reflected in the application of enhancing the photocatalytic performance of hydrogen generation by water splitting.
