中文摘要: 选择性氧化反应是合成方法学研究中极具挑战性的课题,这方面的研究进展将为实现真正的绿色化学合成奠定基础,并带来巨大的社会和经济效益。过渡金属络合物催化是实现选择性氧化反应的重要方法之一。在我们长期以来研究金属络合物催化的多重键化学基础之上,我们将开发一系列不同骨架结构的金属多齿配体络合物,将它们应用于催化不同类型底物的氧化反应中,并尝试通过络合物构型上的特点实现对反应的选择性控制。我们将对反应的机理进行研究,考察配体骨架、中心金属、轴向配体、反应溶剂等各方面因素对反应活性与选择性的影响,利用各种谱学手段如高分辨质谱等对反应中间体进行监测并结合计算化学提出反应模型。本研究的成功实施将大大加深我们对过渡金属络合物催化氧化反应的认识,并将为有机合成化学提供更具有实用性的高效高选择性氧化方法。

英文摘要: Selective oxidation reaction represents a challenging and long standing goal in organic synthesis. The advances in this area will have a profound impact to practical green chemistry, thereby bringing enormous social and economic benefits. The transition metal complexes catalyzed reaction represents one of the most important methods for conducting oxidation reactions in selective way. In this proposal, we will develop a series of metal complexes with different ligands for the selective oxidation of various substrates and the selectivity of the reaction would be controlled through the different configuration of the metal complexes. We will carry out the investigation on the mechanism of the reaction and the various factors such as ligand backbone, metal, axial ligands and solvents to the reacton reactivity and selectivity. Modern spectrum methods such as ESI-MS would be used to monitor the reaction intermediates. In addition, we will further use DFT calculation to help setting up the plausible reaction mechanism. The successful implementation and accomplishment of this proposal would lead to a better understanding of transition metal complexes catalyzed oxidation reaction and contribute new practical highly selective synthetic methodology for organic synthesis.
