中文摘要: 基因组学和测序技术的快速发展为我们全面比较不同环境中生物个体的遗传差异、寻找强烈分化的基因位点,进而在种群水平上研究生物性状的适应性演化奠定了基础。本项目拟选取在我国广泛分布的野生大豆(Glycine soja)为植物寄主,以分布区和类群特点都存在显著差异的两种大豆严重病害(大豆花叶病毒和大豆胞囊线虫)为病原,研究在差异化的病原胁迫环境中,两个不同种群的野生大豆(北方种群和南方种群)多个相关R基因位点的演化历史和抗病特性的变化,揭示和探索植物适应不同病原环境的基本机制和规律,并为大豆抗病基因资源的保护、利用和抗病育种提供理论支持。

英文摘要: The rapid advancements of genomics and sequencing techniques have made it possible to comprehensively compare the genetic differences between individuals from varied environments; to find strongly diversified genetic loci, and to study the adaptive evolution at population level by focusing on multiple key character-relevant loci. In this project, we investigate two populations of wild soybean (Glycine soja), one at the Northeast China and the other at the Southern China, to see how multiple R gene loci relevant to soybean mosaic virus (SMV) or soybean cyst nematode (SCN) resistances evolved differently and adapt to their specific pathogenic environments. The progress made by this project would to a large extent, enhances our understanding on how different populations of a given species adapt (through mutation and selection) to various pathogenic environmental pressures. It would also guide us to better protect and utilize soybean genetic resources.
