中文摘要: 超导加速器的大规模应用,要求尽量缩短加速器长度以降低造价,因此需要提高超导腔的加速梯度及Q值,而场致发射仍然是高梯度、高Q值超导加速器项目所遇到的问题之一。目前在高beta电子加速腔内,场致发射的研究已经取得了部分成果。但是对于低beta超导腔,由于其发展迟于超导电子腔,目前国际上对于这类超导腔的场致发射的研究还没有开展。开展本研究另一重要原因在于低beta超导腔结构复杂而难于清洗,场致发射是限制这类超导腔性能的重要因素之一。目前国际上高流强质子及重离子加速多采用低beta超导腔,该项目的完成将对低beta超导腔的场致发射机制及建立一套可行的能够较为准确地定位场致发射点的方法对于提高超导腔加速梯度、Q值和成品率是十分重要的。

英文摘要: Large scale application of SRF accelerators has to lower the price, shorten the length of accelerator. So, high gradient and high Q SRF cavities are need. Field emission is still one of the limitations for SRF accelerators. For the high gradient SRF electron accelerating cavities, some progress has been made on the field emission study during these years. However, the study of field emission is never done on the low beta SRF cavity because these kinds of cavities are developed fast in the last few years. Due to the complex of the low beta cavity, the inner surface is not easy to clean and field emission is the key limitation in low beta cavity. Currently, low beta cavities are widely used in the new proton or heavy ion high current project in the world. So, our study will aim at the mechanism of field emission in the low beta cavities and building up a method to locate the field emitter. All these will improve the gradient, Q value and the yield product of the low beta cavity.
