中文摘要: 2~5um波段中红外激光在遥感、测距、环境检测、生物工程和医疗等领域有着广阔的发展前景和重要的应用价值。过渡金属离子TM2+掺杂II-VI族硫化物晶体与硫系玻璃复合材料是一种新型而极具潜力的高效率、低阈值、宽带可调谐的2~5um中红外光纤激光器用增益介质材料。本项目针对该领域研究方面存在的问题,提出通过开展TM2+:II-VI@ LnF3核壳结构纳米晶及纳米晶硫系玻璃复合材料及光纤制备研究,系统分析TM2+:II-VI@ LnF3纳米晶硫系玻璃复合材料和光纤的中红外发光性能与晶体类型、尺寸、浓度、基质玻璃组成结构等之间的关系;探明通过两种或多种纳米晶共掺杂方式提高中红外发光效率和拓宽光谱范围的可能性和其中的能量传递行为;突破制备高光学质量、高掺杂均匀分散的纳米晶硫系复合材料和光纤的关键技术。最终制备出一种新型的高质量、高性能、面向宽频可调谐中红外光纤激光源的新型的激光增益光纤材料。

英文摘要: The mid-infrared laser in the range of 2-5um has been developed to apply to the fields of remote sensing, ranging, environmental monitoring, biological engineering and medical treatment, etc. The transition metal ions TM2+-doped of II-VI sulfide crystals and chalcogenide glass composite material is a potentially novel medium for high-efficiency, low-threshold, broadband-tunable 2-5um mid-infrared fiber lasers. This project is aimed at the existing blocks in this field and to develop the preparation of TM2+:II-VI@LnF3 core-shell structural nanocrystals doped chalcogenide glass composites and fibers. By clarifying the relationship between mid-infrared emission characteristic with nanocrystals' type, size, concentration and glass matrix's composition in the composites and fibers, together with looking for a efficient co-doping method for improving the mid-infrared emission and broadening the spectral range, and identifying the energy transfer behavior, one novel laser material for high-efficiency, low-threshold, broadband-tunable 2-5um mid-infrared fiber lasers will be prepared after rational design and fiber drawing experiments.
